MEET US
Daniel scarpinato
President
Daniel Scarpinato is a skilled communications professional and strategist who has worked at the highest levels of government and politics.
Daniel began his career as a newspaper reporter and editor, before making the leap to politics and cutting his teeth on some of the most competitive races in the country.
In 2011, Daniel joined the staff of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), where he eventually served as the committee's National Press Secretary. Daniel worked closely with candidates and strategists across the country to develop messaging and communications strategies that helped the party win key congressional races.
After several years at the NRCC, Daniel returned to his home state of Arizona to serve as the Communications Director, and later as Chief of Staff, for Governor Doug Ducey. In this role, he helped the Governor navigate a range of complex policy issues, including education reform, tax policy, and border security.
Throughout his career, Daniel has been recognized as a skilled communicator and strategist who is able to develop and execute effective messaging and outreach campaigns. He is widely respected by his colleagues and peers for his integrity, and work ethic, and is considered one of the leading voices in politics today.
CLAY ROBINSON
ASSOCIATE
Clay Robinson is a communications professional, recognized for his impactful work in politics and public affairs.
Clay began his career at the Resolute Group, where he developed and executed robust messaging strategies for political candidates and nonprofit clients. He then moved to Camelback Strategy Group, expertly crafting and implementing design and branding strategies to elevate client profiles. Currently, Clay serves as an Associate at Winged Victory Agency, a Phoenix-based consulting firm specializing in strategic communications, messaging, campaigns, and public affairs.
In 2021, Clay co-founded the Western Tribune, a digital publication dedicated to revitalizing local journalism in the American Southwest. He also serves in the Arizona National Guard, demonstrating his commitment to public service.
An alumnus of Arizona State University, Clay earned degrees in Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership, Political Science, and Innovation in Society from Barrett, the Honors College. He is currently studying at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, pursuing a Master's in Global Management with a focus on Public Policy.
Carmen Hulett
OPERATIONS & COMMUNIcations Coordinator
Carmen Hulett serves as the Operations and Communications Coordinator at Winged Victory Agency. With a diverse background in communications, office management, and relationship building, Carmen excels in social media management, content creation, and strategic planning. At Winged Victory Agency, Carmen is instrumental in managing social media accounts and creating content that resonates with a variety of audiences.
Previously, Carmen was integral in her role at A for Arizona, where she managed front-facing business accounts and spearheaded communications strategies that effectively engaged various stakeholders in the education sector. Carmen excels at creating and managing relationships across digital platforms.
Carmen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University. Beyond her professional pursuits, she is actively involved in The Rose Society, a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit community dedicated to supporting women working in and around Arizona politics and policy.
